The Hartford Health Care Supplier Diversity Summit is a vital initiative led by CEO Jeff Flaks to establish a more diversified healthcare system. Onyx Elite LLC has been instrumental in this endeavor, developing a comprehensive playbook and system specifically for the Supplier Diversity Summit. Their expertise played a pivotal role in the planning and coordination of the event, ensuring a successful engagement with diverse suppliers. In addition, Onyx Elite LLC worked diligently to prepare vendors across various sectors, including hospitality, janitorial, and construction, helping them refine their scope of work to qualify as preferred vendors for Hartford Health Care. Furthermore, Onyx Elite LLC provided support to their consulting clients, equipping them with the tools and strategies needed to secure successful partnerships and award opportunities. Together, these efforts represent significant strides towards a more equitable and diverse healthcare landscape.

Girls for Technology Annual Fundraising Gala,
Onyx Planning - 2022, 2023, 2024
Onyx Elite LLC was hired to execute the planning and day of coordination for GFT’s annual galas over a nine-month timeline, managing vendor selection and coordination, outreach to local and national dignitaries, and public relations efforts, including press releases and appearances. Enhanced the organization's visibility through strategic engagement, hosting over 400 attendees each year.
Health Equity Solutions Ten Year Anniversary
In the second half of the calendar year, Onyx Elite has been hired as the event planner for multiple corporate galas on behalf of Health Equity Solutions, Community Renewal Team, The Black Business Alliance, and the upcoming Girls for Technology Gala. Onyx Elite LLC was heavily involved from inception to execution in developing timelines, marketing materials, and strategies, connecting with vendors, and monitoring registration and ticket sales. On the day of the event, we are motivated problem solvers that help set the mood and build excitement while seamlessly executing the run of the show.
On Elite LLC is proud to have supported, planned, and executed numerous events for The Black Business Alliance (BBA) as part of its social calendar from 2023-2024. Our partnership with the BBA has been characterized by a deep commitment to fostering connections within the community and enhancing the visibility of Black-owned businesses. In addition to event planning, we have actively supported the organization in various critical areas, including in-house operations, marketing, and communications efforts. This multifaceted initiative required meticulous vendor management to ensure that all aspects of the events were delivered seamlessly and to the highest standards. Effective coordination of venues was essential to create an inviting atmosphere that encouraged engagement and collaboration among participants. Moreover, our adherence to strict timelines guaranteed that each event was executed flawlessly, allowing the BBA to focus on its mission of empowering Black entrepreneurs and professionals. Through our collaborative efforts, we have contributed to a series of successful events that not only showcased the talents and contributions of the Black business community but also strengthened the overall impact of the BBA in promoting diversity and inclusion in the marketplace.

Community Renewal Team 60th Anniversary 2024 Gala
Onyx Elite LLC was contracted to plan and execute The Community Renewal Team’s 60th Anniversary Gala, spanning a seven-month period. This involved managing vendor selection and coordination, reaching out to local and national dignitaries, and overseeing public relations efforts, such as press releases and appearances. The organization’s visibility was significantly enhanced through strategic engagement, attracting over 250 attendees.
Diner En Blanc New Haven
Dîner en Blanc New Haven (2023-2024): Successfully organized a large-scale, city-wide event featuring vendors, performers, and 800 attendees across multiple locations. Onyx Elite LLC Served as the VIP Host and assisted with all aspects of fundraising, logistics, and on-site operations to deliver a seamless and memorable experience.
